About Ryan Sweezey

Hi, I’m Ryan Sweezey, a 22-year-old photographer based on Long Island. Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It all started when I was 11 years old, taking photos at my great uncle’s wedding on the first cell phone my dad gave me and from that moment on, I was hooked.

That early passion led me to work as a photojournalist for a local newspaper throughout high school, and later as a business photographer for the Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce. I continued developing my craft at Suffolk County Community College, where I studied photography and earned several awards along the way. Today, I’m focused on turning what began as a lifelong passion into a full-time career.

I specialize in events, families, weddings, and business photography, with an approach rooted in authenticity and storytelling. I’m always learning, growing, and finding new ways to create images that feel real, meaningful, and timeless.

What I love most about photography is its power, a single image can make someone feel confident, seen, and connected, while preserving a moment that can be cherished for years to come. My goal is to slow things down, observe the details, and capture moments as they naturally unfold.

If you’ve supported my work in any way, by booking a session, sharing my photos, or simply following along, thank you. It truly means more than you know.

If you’re looking for a photographer who values genuine moments and thoughtful storytelling, I’d love to work with you. Bookings are currently open, and you can get in touch through the contact page to start planning your session or event.
